Two men travelled for years in search of an Entity which they were unsure of its existence. This Entity, never seen by another organism, was known to bring peace and prosperity to all living things until no living thing was left. When disease and turmoil began to ravage through the World, tearing people apart, The Watching Man and The Seeing Man ventured out to claim this Entity, following no directions but the feelings in their souls. The World, within its pain and suffering call for them to stay with the people, but they were too naive to listen.

The Entity, sensing the men drawing closer, decided to make itself known to them. When the men saw what they were looking for, they immediately stop, fell to their knees, and began to ask for forgiveness and guidance. Little did the men know, the Entity had powers on extreme ends, allowing for both growth and life as well as death and destruction. The Entity was disgusted by the men's pathetic weeping and did not want to help. Instead, it was going to manipulate them.

Returning home, the men caused unspeakable violence and terror upon their people.

Influenced by the Entity, The Watching Man and The Seeing Man went against what they originally set out to do. The Watching Man took advantage of the people's dreams and used them to trap them inside an endless purgatory and eventually destroying it, along with the countless souls. The Seeing Man captured the World and its ideologies and corrupted them, turning the world into an angry and vengeful husk, incapable of thought and feeling.

After the men were done, the Entity snapped them out of their state of influence to show them what they had done. The men were struck with grief, unable to comprehend how or why they had caused so much inhumanly destruction. The men take their own lives, hoping to follow any lost forsaken souls that may still be roaming. The Entity leaves this world to find a new one, in which to repeat the cycle.
